This workshop is addressed to musicians and dancers interested in collaborative work aiming at performing improvisation in front of an audience, consciously allowing the individual and collective compositional mind to combine and operate in the real time process. A strong attention will be given to the body as a listening instrument in order to develop a subtle and efficient perception of what occurs in space and time in the act of making sound and movement.
Different strategies and listening qualities will be explored for each to find and refine a personal voice while experimenting different relational modes in the elaboration of an improvised group piece, using musicality as a common ground for dancers and musicians to meet.
